For many years my artistic pursuits were rooted in street and travel photography. This is where I started my exploration of colors, scenes, and storytelling through imagery.

A couple years ago, I started to think about where to take my art next. This led to me looking at what has always inspired me which was pop art, anime, and music. I began to revisit some of my favorite shows and movies I watched growing up. At the same time I had been building a collection of DVDs, CDs, and Cassettes as I liked being able to own and interact with my favorite movies and music. It was at this time it all started to come together and the idea of combining my inspirations into my own work was born.

After months of exploration I created my first mixed media art piece, which finally combined together my three inspirations of pop art, anime, and music. The cassette became the frame for the artwork and in the center featured an anime character that was redrawn into pop art. My goal was to honor these works in a new way that felt like an expression of myself and my passion for these various mediums.

What you see now on this site are the final results of over two years of work.
